Cover: In the scenario of chemical-induced cellular reprogramming, mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEF) activated by chemicals would undergo mesenchymal-to-epithelial transition (MET), a process that would produce essential and plastic reprogramming intermediate cells. By manipulating the culture signaling, these intermediate cells could be directed toward different cell types, such as neural stem cells (NSC) and oligodendrocyte progenitor cells (OPC).
