Cover: Photomicrographs of L-proline-induced cells (PiCs) immunostained for the pluripotency markers octamer 3/4 and SSEA1. Nuclei were counterstained with Hoechst. The nucleolar localization of Oct3/4 in PiCs was indicated by green fluorescence, and SSEA1 was localized on the cell membrane as indicated by red fluorescence. PiC colonies show a flattened epiblast-like morphology.
