Cover: Vascular remodeling is a pathological basis of various disorders. By altering gene transcription and expression, Kru¨ppellike factor 5 (KLF5) modulates the processes that play essential roles in the development of vascular remodeling, such as cell proliferation, phenotype switch, inflammation, angiogenesis, and extracellular matrix remodeling, suggesting that KLF5 could be a potent therapeutic target in vascular diseases. See pages 79–90 by Xie et al. for details.
