Cover: Photomicrograph of live GFP+ and RFP+ transduced primary human colon carcinoma cells in vitro surrounding a scratch in the culture. The GFP+ green cells also express constitutively active BMPRIb whereas the RFP+ red cells act as internal controls. In this red/green scratch assay, enhanced BMPRIb activity promotes GFP+ cell migration and healing of the gap, but it also promotes invasion by neighboring RFP+ cells through non-autonomous effects. See pages 318-332 by Lorente-Trigos et al. for details.
