Cover: Tumor treating fi elds (TTFields) is the latest FDA-approved therapy for patients with glioblastoma, a lethal form of brain cancer. The mechanisms of action of TTFields in cancer include, but are not limited to, cellular disruption causing abnormal cell division, autophagy, apoptosis, reduced invasion/migration, and increased DNA damage, all of which ultimately lead to increased cancer cell death and decreased cancer cell survival and growth.
